Porta Nuova is the area chosen to test the results of the open-source project. The objective is to enhance the quality of the residual public spaces generated by stratification and urban transformation. ORIZZONTI URBANI transforms the act of walking across rooftops into a playful and dreamlike experience through sculptural plastic elements, automated systems, and covered pathways. The project creates a new elevated public promenade, offering new visual horizons to those who traverse it. At the same time, it defines the qualities of the underlying spaces through sculptural elements that generate places for permanence and social interaction.
