the project involves the placement of "site-specific" installations in the main halls of the ridotto del teatro sociale in como for the history repeating exhibition, curated by marco sammicheli for the lake como design festival 2021. the installations, characterized by a common gray color, aim to enhance the unique features of each hall, such as the wooden ceiling, the statue, the fireplace, and chandeliers. the use of abstract color allows the installations to be both a frame and a backdrop for the different objects. each room offers a distinct emotional and spatial experience, guiding visitors through different perspectives. the project represents an opportunity for a new exploration of the halls of the ridotto del teatro sociale.
