Studio
LAST is an architecture, research, and design practice based in Cantù (IT) and Lugano (CH), founded and led by .
Since 2010, Stefano Larotonda has developed an independent practice following his studies at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, where he graduated under the guidance of Peter Zumthor.
Established in 2018, LAST investigates architecture across scales, from public buildings and competitions to furniture and product design.
Its work is guided by a pursuit of essentiality, where the reduction of formal and material elements becomes a tool for achieving conceptual clarity.
The studio works through a continuous dialogue between architecture, materials, and context, seeking to define projects through a precise and essential approach.
